That image at the top is quite beautiful, you should be proud of that one. If you ever want to fix the problems you see you could always do a more planned version from start to finish. I do, however, find the slight imperfections charming in a way. Almost like something you would see in those old school dungeons and dragons modules.
@Jonas Jerde: Thanks a lot for your kind words, they are very motivating! I really like these old retro style illustrations, guess they do sort of influence me a bit

Sort of a different take on a druid kind of character and I did a couple of speed portraits just for fun, each taking about 10-15 minutes. I didn´t go mainly for likeness, just for having sort of 6 different faces, but there are 4 celebrities hidden in there. Can anyone guess who? :)

Ink drawing practice, loosely studying spaceship designs

Those spaceships are tight. Particularly enjoying the lines/gaps on the black space in the middle one, as a random detail.
Also really enjoying the fantasy characters. You're prolific man!
@CHARLE PRSN: Thanks very much!

Some sketching with vehicles and finally I´m allowed to post my ILM contest stuff, so here is the first painting. The task was to use elements from the old star wars trilogy and create a new story. So I had the Empire launch a ground assault on Yavin 4, heavily wounding (or killing) Luke in the process.

Some more spaceship sketches, not exactly constructed, some perspective errors, but they are meant to be simple idea sketches

Inspiration can be found in the most unlikely places. Been to the dentist and while waiting I drew the second sketch below

More ballpoint pen/ink quick portraits

Finally finished the girl with pearl earring oil painting. Not perfect, but turned out ok. It needs to dry now, then I´ll maybe tweak it a little more with some glazing

Some pencil sketches and a watercolour painting of Craigievar castle from my summer trip to Scotland. It really is a pink fairy tale castle in the middle of nowhere. Quite a surreal experience :)

Some doodles of random internet stuff, pencil sketches and ballpoint pen studies of Repin paintings. His work is really phenomenal and extremely realistic. Also his portraits are highly interesting to draw. So many wrinkles and bumps ...just fun :)

Ballpoint studies (devoloping a habit there?) and pencil sketch

More ballpoint pen studies, this time they are combined with ink pen and markers (it´s Inktober after all ;)  )
