Wow dude, that card test came out great. I love the textures in that dragons scales. Your rendering is defiantly getting beter. I think the composition is a little rigid at the mo though. It seems very stiff and not very dynamic. Its still really sweet stuff though, and your sketchbook is great. Defiantly gets a 5 star vote from me ;)
I 'm avoiding to draw hands often, don't know what to do with them, and when i paint them they look like shiiite.. SO i', going to do Hands for the Goldenboy challenge! here are the first studies.

the hand studies really took me long.
because it tried to bring more form details in
the drawings similar like hogarth did it in his book.
but still looks like shit.
