And then one month later.....

This semester has been pretty freakin' crazy, balancing home life with the family and pushing my work further. About midway I realized I was either going to tank on the school work or the illustration work, so I had to put everything on hold and start pushing out my school work. This coming semester, I am trying to work out an independent study with the illustration prof. to focus on my illustration portfolio as an assignment. It's hasn't been a waste though, I can already tell by going back and looking at my illustration work that all the drawing is going to help me correct some of this stuff that I was having problems with. I hope everyone is doing well, and I am going to make a sincere effort to keep up with this book and everyone else running around here. If you've friended me on facebook you'll probably recognize some of this already.

Below, you will find a mix of the good and the bad. I'm pretty shitty with pen and ink but I wanted to post some of it if only to motivate myself through public humiliation. A few paint doodles and landscapes too, I'm going to really push landscapes next semester, as it is pretty alien to me.
