just some sketches during classes
hnng, love all the hands! *o*
One thing I noticed, though: You tend to draw noses very long/ stretch the midsection of the faces too much. Shortening the midsection would make them look more realistic and in proportion. :)
natzetta - Thanks , man! I will definitely keep that in mind ,proportion is one of my biggest ennemies :D
sketches 'n stuff
10 min sketch
another 10 mins coloring it...
and a 30 min sketch earlier this mearning
ChocolateCookie - Heh , thanks! Waiting for your updates :)
heads.(from mind)
hands.(from mind)
Lookin good dude! If you can get your hands on a model skull and sketch it from a lot of angels you'll be amazed at how much more 'solid' you can make your heads look. Again, a model, not a picture, the 'actual' thing will teach you all you need to know about head and face structure. I'm liking your experimental approach to using digital. Keep it up!
Jkutz - I definitely would like me a model :O I'm getting kinda bored with the whole picture thing , but I can't find a cheap big enough one and I'm kinda low on cash right now :D I'll think of something...
a sketch from this morning (experimenting with stuffs :P )
quick ( 30 min ) environment photo study
Experimenting is the best thing to learn! It's great to take challanges :D
Yours enviro piece looks like divided in 2 inconsistent pieces. Down part of picture looks for me good- the ligtning, the usage of brushes is good. But the upper part - the clouds, don't look good as well. A suggestion is - maybe take a time for practice clouds? Try that as one of your experimenting training :)
Mannequin - Thanks for the advice :)
a no opacity study from this morning...damn that's hard :D
You've got a really cool approach to your stuff man. The environments study looked awesome, really liking the sharp shapes. And great sketchbook work. Keep it up :)
JakeB - Thanks man! :)
