I really cannot seem to understand the logic behind color choice of fleshtones in moonlight. Can anyone help a brother out
What logic do you mean?

Go out at night when the moon shines. Then look at your own hand. Make a photo of it for reference (without flash; doesn't matter if it turns out blurry). Try to understand what you are seeing.

Then go look at movie stills or paintings of people in moonlight. Observe whether it matches what you saw (it probably won't - there are cultural conventions for how to represent things that are not identical to how they really look), try to understand what they did to make the skin tones the way they are.

After that, come back here, present your results, and ask more specific questions.
