I've been wondering if Dave had to ask permission or was given permission to sell prints of his outstanding Turtles images?

I've been watching live streams when I can but haven't seen them all and didn't want to bore regulars if it's a question already answered.

Been wondering since all the Ghost Rider news.

He didnt ask permission since it was just fan art, but he kept the print run low as to not make it look like he was using them to make a lot of money. 40 of each print I think. They must not have cared, because the current owners of the franchise is Nickelodeon and they offered him a job after they saw them.

And yes, they are incredible.
