I think you should try to play with more than just the brush mixer try air brush and the smuggling tool the dodge and the burn tool.I would also say if you don't already try to mix soft brush and hard brush.

Thanks for the tips! I already using smuggling tool sometimes, i'll use more the air brush, dodge and burn tool :)
