Crimson Daggers — Art forum

Hey! I'm interested in doing more of these stylized illustrations. I'm a graphic designer and looking to get into more artistic stuff, but I feel like my fundamentals could maybe use work? Not sure what to focus on though.

I like this style a lot it's quite appealing. The only thing I would change is to make it more obvious he's looking at his watch, if that's what's intended. You know, put the wrist up higher near his eye level so the gesture is more theatrical.
