Here's some more scans, the top two were in 1 -2 min or so in charcoal, the bottom two were a bit longer, around 5 min i think and done with black colored pencil.

Awesome! You've got a really nice way of rendering digitally, and I love that marker piece, really clean. No real crits or anything, but I'd love to see you flesh out something a little more. Like how you did that portrait on the last page? All looks good so far though, keep it coming :D

Thanks Jake! Ye, I agree, I think I'd definately benefit from doing a few longer pieces and really spending time on fleshing them out. It's something I'm trying improve with my workflow/ethics. I find myself doing 2-3 hour sketches far too often.

I love that scarf-lady playing with her smartphone painting - reminds me a bit of Sargent's Smoke of Ambergris painting.
Really love the range you're covering here. Also like the palette knife portrait of the back of girl's head. Was it on canvas? Board? Good thing you're using water-based oil paint. I'd probably done it with regular oil paint... and regret it 15 years later when I'm done in by cancer.... o_o
