Great simple brushwork, I'm envious, I always get so fussy with mine :(. Cheers :) I get the same problem dude. I try and work with a timer on, so I don't get lost in pointless detail. I think doing more master studies is going to help with that too, it's really showing me what clean efficient mark making is about. RE: Mig's sketchbook - CoreyH - 02-13-2013 Awesome dramatic pose and lighting on that last self portrait haha, snowscape is looking good too! RE: Mig's sketchbook - Mig - 02-14-2013 Thanks Corey, a bright monitor in a dark room always makes for drama :) All I have to show for today is a ball of grass :( RE: Mig's sketchbook - Mig - 02-16-2013 Torso Time! For anyone who hasn't checked out anatomy for sculptors http://www.anatomy4sculptors.com/ awesomely informative. RE: Mig's sketchbook - Mr. Toodles - 02-18-2013 You've got some great use of Tone in your studies. Most people resort to using almost complete black and lose so much in their images. Keep going dude :D RE: Mig's sketchbook - CoreyH - 04-10-2013 Cool update again, should upload some more! haha RE: Mig's sketchbook - Mig - 12-07-2013 Been out of the game for months :( Slowly finding my stride again with some studies.
