well i guess you could make him instead of just simply a tree ent, a mash of rock and tree? wouldn't take that long man, and could be pretty interesting actually.

I talked with my professor about it and showed him the image you found, and I decided to kind of scrap the entire image, since its so ridiculously similar. Going to come back to it later and make the ent more Humanoid and standing but keep the gorilla like large forums, just make it upright I'm thinking. So instead im going to concentrate on the Female in the image and do a standalone with her. Thanks a ton for the encouragement.

Bernini Sculpture study, getting in the habit of learning to paint matte surfaces and things with less shine. Also applying alot of practice with layer control through masks etc.
