Yeah, I had to take a bit of a hiatus. Sorry about that. But I have been drawing and I am doing things. So here come the updates. God save us all. RE: ATP's Sketchbook. The horror begins soon. - ATP - 04-15-2015 Study done today, 15-04-2015 at the National Gallery of Victoria. Portrait of Susanna Highmore, painted in oils by her father Joseph Highmore. His portrait is hung up next to hers, and I think that that's quite a nice thing. RE: ATP's Sketchbook. The horror begins soon. - Adam Lina - 04-15-2015 Welcome back man! I see you're still a hatching maCHINE. All your drawings have such great form. I would say your weakness though is that you lean very far to the structural side of things so that you lose the rhythm of your figures. This video from Proko I think illustrates what I mean. Your 60 second gestures are focused on the contours. The form and structure of them look great but the point of fast gestures is to see the over all flow of the the forms. I would even do 30 second gestures to force you to simplify the contours into the most basic rhythm lines. I hope this is helpful for you. RE: ATP's Sketchbook.
