The nice conceptart.org user Jetpack42 has released a free printable pdf version of his book about the fundamentals of drawing from life.

Script - Brush tool back from rotate tool - AlfonsoX - 01-03-2013

I made a lite simple script for photoshop and painter.

I wanted the rotate tool to behave as the hand(Space) or eyedropper(Alt) tools. Meaning that when I release the key it goes back to brush.

Photoshop already have that but wasn't fully working because if you release mouse just a tick before the "R" key it wont go back to brush. It was getting very annoying for me.

Painter just didn't have it.

For the script I used this open source program http://www.autohotkey.com/

For the script to work you have to have rotate tool assigned to "R" key and brush to "B".
Since the script just emulate that you press "B"(Brush) when releasing "R"(Rotate)

I've been studying perspective lately and I'm training my straight lines so I have to rotate the canvas a lot and quick. With this script everything goes way smoother.

I made a Google chrome extension for quick access to this forum.

'How to' Steps:

1. Download it from here: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/53032591/Crimson%20Daggers.zip
2. Extract the files.
3. Open Chrome and write chrome://extensions/ in the address bar.
4. Press "Load unpacked extensions" and choose the extracted folder.
5. Put it first in the list Goddammit!

It's helpful for me so I thought others might benefit.

PS- You can do your own for other sites, simply open the .json with Notepad and change the little information from there.

Some old amry vehicles I took photoes of - petroff - 01-16-2013

Hey here are two packs of old soviet and other military vehicles from the 30's some airplanes from the 50-60 .... It was very sunny day and the photos are a bit high contrast but still readable, there is a creepy stalker pic of a lady but not too creepy , so enjoy, I hope it's useful.

A great tool to help you keep track of things to do, wrapped up in an RPG guise. You earn gold and EXP when you do things on your list, which allows you to level up and buy rewards like playing on the computer or watching TV.

I use it to keep track of freelance deadlines, and Deathline related stuff like daily studies, etc.
