My only real critique is to focus on your construction and proportions more mindfully in terms of figure-based stuff. I feel like since your painting prowess is already strong, this will help you add layers of realism and verisimilitude. RE: Devin's Sketchbook - devin - 11-16-2013 Thanks guys, totally agree with that Einver, proportions are something I need to start paying more attention to. RE: Devin's Sketchbook - devin - 11-17-2013 RE: Devin's Sketchbook - kikindaface - 11-17-2013 ah man, this landscape painting with warm clouds ( first image of post #172 ) is really beautiful ! concerning last painting, aah everything looks so warm ! well, it's not that it's warm, but everything looks about the same color temperature, so we don't have something warmer or colder in order to interpret it as warmer/cooler ! Keep it up ! RE: Devin's Sketchbook - devin - 11-21-2013 thanks for the tip man :D 25 minute study before the sun went down: RE: Devin's Sketchbook - BenFlores - 11-21-2013 really great stuff devin! im super impressed by all your work, keep it goin RE: Devin's Sketchbook - devin - 11-22-2013 thanks man :D RE: Devin's Sketchbook - devin - 11-22-2013 RE: Devin's Sketchbook - devin - 11-23-2013 some work on illustration number 3: RE: Devin's Sketchbook - devin - 11-23-2013 |
