Some quick lunchtime sketches:

RE: Elderscrollers Sketchy Stuff - Elderscroller - 12-11-2013

Not much time for lunchtime sketches, so it´s just this meh piece:

RE: Elderscrollers Sketchy Stuff - Tygerson - 12-11-2013

Very cool caterpillar in the iconic Alice scene. You really captured the condescending attitude.

I like the many ribbed bridge scene--so atmospheric! And the "meh" piece looks good to me. Really like the movement of the cloak and tentacle-like place.

So pretty! I like the otherwordly portal in the river!

RE: Elderscrollers Sketchy Stuff - Elderscroller - 12-14-2013

@Tygerson: Thanks very much for liking my little speedpaintings :)

Here´s another one, something more scifi-ish, don´t paint a lot of those...

RE: Elderscrollers Sketchy Stuff - califfguzman - 12-14-2013

Man your textures/surfaces!

RE: Elderscrollers Sketchy Stuff - ramalooke - 12-14-2013

Swweeeeeet work man! I can see some nice texture work going on here. Keep it up ;>

RE: Elderscrollers Sketchy Stuff - Elderscroller - 12-15-2013

@ califfguzman and ramalooke: Thanks very much! I need to squash in a lot more atmosphere/mood/lighting though :)

Some more studies/sketches/doodles for the last few days:

RE: Elderscrollers Sketchy Stuff - ramalooke - 12-16-2013

It's always good to see some pages of anatomy drawings. I digg that. Hope to see some work to apply all this knowlege soon <3

RE: Elderscrollers Sketchy Stuff - Elderscroller - 12-18-2013

@ramalooke: I try to apply it on imaginary figure sketches. But I think it´s time that I paint something finished again, been doing practices and studies for a month now with no original work... :(

And another lunchtime landscape speedy:

Portrait study time:

Another speedpainting

RE: Elderscrollers Sketchy Stuff - wla91 - 12-23-2013

Hey man great speedies and studies, I really like the colors in your pieces, you seem to have a good grasp on it.

Keep it up!

RE: Elderscrollers Sketchy Stuff - Elderscroller - 01-10-2014

@wla91 : Thanks very much! :)

Some updates after a longer online break:

RE: Elderscrollers Sketchy Stuff - Sir-lex - 01-10-2014

nice sketches/drawings! Your sense of lineweight is really good. keep it up :)

RE: Elderscrollers Sketchy Stuff - Zipfelzeus - 01-11-2014

Your anatomy sketches are great. I love the action. Your faces are also getting better and better.
Cool stuff yo ;)

RE: Elderscrollers Sketchy Stuff - Elderscroller - 01-14-2014

@Sir-lex & Zipfelzeus: Thanks a lot! :) (Weird name Zipfelzeus, by the way...:D )

Here´s a speedpainting from, you guessed it, another lunchtime break. This time I created two, using the same base, but trying to convey a different mood/story to each painting:

RE: Elderscrollers Sketchy Stuff - razvanb08 - 01-14-2014

Cool speedpaintings man. In the second one I think it would help the composition if you move the monster from the center of the canvas and off to the left a little bit.
Keept it up.

RE: Elderscrollers Sketchy Stuff - Elderscroller - 01-15-2014

@razvanb08: Thanks, glad you like it! For a final painting, I would have moved the monster or maybe cropped the left border. I´m playing a bit with composition (although that is a subject I need to study more..), trying out, if the monster appears to lunge at the viewer more, when placing it more to the center.

A more peaceful and serene speedpainting from today:

RE: Elderscrollers Sketchy Stuff - Adzerak - 01-15-2014

Really dig those thematic winter paintings. Looks like they could fit well in a game such as Skyrim. There's a nice application of textures in your paintings too, keep at it!

RE: Elderscrollers Sketchy Stuff - Elderscroller - 01-17-2014

@Adzerak: Thanks, that is a really nice compliment :)

Yesterday´s lunchtime sketch was so crappy, I dare not post it, so here´s the one from today:
