Let the Wookiee Win. - JasonR - 01-27-2012 Hey guys and gals... Everybody seems to be getting some awesome feedback and the site is overall boomin, so figured I'd join in. Here's some studies and more finished stuff to get this going. RE: Let the Wookiee Win. - FlyByKnight - 01-27-2012 You've got some really great stuff here keep it coming! :) RE: Let the Wookiee Win. - Trobino - 01-27-2012 awesome studies! the frogs are great :) RE: Let the Wookiee Win. - JasonR - 01-28-2012 FlybyKnight / Trobino - thanks you two. Sorry a friend who I only get to see a couple times within a year was visiting today so not a whole lot got done. Just two quick character sketches from a book project. RE: Let the Wookiee Win. - John Silva - 01-28-2012 Welcome and cool stuff! Keep it up! RE: Let the Wookiee Win. - JasonR - 02-05-2012 Ah! I've been very very busy. There's a ton of drawings I've been working on for this book project but they're not finished so I'll wait to post them. In the meantime, here is a study from the other day and the back cover of the book. RE: Let the Wookiee Win. - JasonR - 02-07-2012 needed to study wrinkles... so I did one. (the colors are not accurate at all, just didn't want to see gray scale.) Really want to get back into every day doing something *slaps self* RE: Let the Wookiee Win. - gangstershit - 02-08-2012 nice work. Real expressive. RE: Let the Wookiee Win. - Chavreaper - 02-08-2012 Wonderful work man, i really like your lines :P RE: Let the Wookiee Win. - JasonR - 02-08-2012 Gangster / Chav - thanks you two. Here is a "fixed" version of the back cover picture and the front without text... I still kind of liked it the way before a little but eh it's what the class wanted. RE: Let the Wookiee Win. - Chavreaper - 02-08-2012 That last one scares me XD RE: Let the Wookiee Win. - Zesiul - 02-10-2012 Great stuff bro. RE: Let the Wookiee Win. - JasonR - 02-19-2012 Chavreaper -> Yeah, kids need some FEAR! Zesiul - thanks. Sorry I've been gone and not so much posting... past week or two have been rough. Fiance and I have decided to part ways and such...doesn't put me in the most productive mode. Here is a study of a coat for a painting and uh 2 illustrations for some article about emotions and equations or some crap, it was poorly written. RE: Let the Wookiee Win. - Mattias Fahlberg - 02-19-2012 Great work man! RE: Let the Wookiee Win. - The Shoethief - 02-20-2012 Dope stuff! The face with the huge mouth is crazy! RE: Let the Wookiee Win. - JasonR - 02-22-2012 Mattias - thank you good sir. SHoethief - thank you as well. Here is an illustration for a book (double spread + room for text) I really had a hard time with it and I still don't like it, BUT there is more to do elsewhere so it's done. Also, a bee study for a project involving bees. RE: Let the Wookiee Win. - malan - 02-23-2012 Hey man! You got really nice works! Your studies are great, I really liked your brush strokes, pretty precise. And those frogs! :D RE: Let the Wookiee Win. - JasonR - 06-26-2012 Woah, it's been a while. Kind of got side tracked towards the end of school and didn't have time to post. I promise to get back on top of it. So anyway...here's some illustrations, a link to a concept art package we had to do in about 2 months AND studies! yay studies. Concept Art Book rough Personal paintings for portfolio Commission for "Last Judges." And as promised, some recent studies...(trying to work on perspective and landscapes) and I randomly began painting smash brothers characters from the selection screen. RE: Let the Wookiee Win. - JasonR - 06-27-2012 Nobody :'( Ha, that's alright I'll keep truckin. Pickahu! and a study from today. (I realized my images were posting enormous just now, shall shrink in the present future) RE: Let the Wookiee Win. - JonHop - 06-27-2012 Haha love the realistic take on yoshi and pikachu and some good work on perspective and landscapes, like how you used minimal brush strokes to create the beach scene, that one is well done. Keep up the hard work! |
