Keep going! As a small tip for starting out: Try to study some form. Why does that sphere you see look 3D, why is it not just a circle? That's form. Try to experiment with contrast, rendering, values, and all that. Maybe do some fundamental studies, because they help you out big time, no matter at what level you are! Stay strong! For example, the second one, instead of shading every little part of the armour the same way, think about the biggest form it is enveloping, some parts won't be reached at all by the light source. (The glass one my first study; the female warrior piece my second character design; the environment my first colored environment).
