Wing's sketchnest - Wingal - 04-23-2013 Moving here from Conceptart because of the drama and how sucky its gotten as of late. Still on my art improvement journey. Unlike most people that ive seen here, im not trying to get into conceptart. I want to go into animation. Hopefully my art reflects that =) Old thread: http://www.conceptart.org/showthread.php?t=202559#.UXX7l7WyCSo Lets carry on then. RE: Wing's sketchbook nest - Wingal - 04-24-2013 Some head sketches and 30 second-10 mins animal drawings then a bunch of dogs and pirates from imagination. RE: Wing's sketchbook nest - Raymond Luk - 04-25-2013 Hmms there some interesting leg constructions going on in the last few pieces I see you can draw circles, so work on line economy next :-0 try to draw cleanly with 1 - 2 lines :P More visual library! :0 RE: Wing's sketchbook nest - Wingal - 05-04-2013 Something im working on for pmd explorers of DA, RE: Wing's sketchbook nest - Wingal - 05-23-2013 I have a alot to put up, mostly stuff I have to scan. Heres a selfie from the other day, which was also good =) Probably will add more reflected light next time and make it so I seem like a red blooded animal as well. Better than my last few though! Cheers. RE: Wing's sketchbook nest - Jaik - 06-10-2013 Dayum, thats some serious work you got going on here. I can definitely tell that you want to go into animation. Though drawing from life and getting a realism down pat first I hear helps a lot. Gestures are you friend, and you already look like you will be much better at capturing the pose than I am. A lot of life in your studies. Don't know if you have them already but the drawn to life books are amazing, I have them myself and they really have a tonne of knowledge, and as an animator, you would find them even more useful than I. The illusion of life is another good one. RE: Wing's sketchbook nest - Madzia - 06-14-2013 Drawn to life books are amazing but they contain difficult theory mostly. Your cartoon characters are great! I recommend to check this book first http://pl.scribd.com/doc/7582342/Preston-Blair-Cartoon-Animation it's also available on amazon. It's old but really useful. Have you seen Balto characters model sheets? http://livlily.blogspot.com/2011/11/balto-1995-characters-model-sheets.html Your dogs remind me them :D RE: Wing's sketchbook nest - Wingal - 07-29-2013 Thumbs from a certain movie RE: Wing's sketchbook nest - Wingal - 07-31-2013 1hdc on google hangout! no clue what the topic was RE: Wing's sketchbook nest - devinn - 08-30-2013 I love your thumbnails, Real nice man! RE: Wing's sketchbook nest - Wingal - 09-25-2015 Wanted to start a new sketchbook with a new name but I guess ill continue here. Someone reminded me that this place existed.
