New and learning fundamentals - Tygerson - 05-31-2013

Wow, so much skill here!

My goal is to someday illustrate book covers, but I first really need to learn the basics, like anatomy, lighting, perspective, etc. So this year is anatomy.

I'm sketching my way through Loomis's "Figure drawing for all it's worth," plus whatever types of books Loomis recommends.

Is there anywhere around here where people are working on figures/people/anatomy drawing?

I know, right? It's almost frustrating.

Welcome to the daggers! I think pretty much everyone is working on what you're saying, so you could just look for a group or a partner, I'm sure someone will be up for that.
Anyway, cheers!
