RE: Lex Paul`s stuff - Lex_paul - 02-24-2014 Hello guys, pretty long time no post with recent studies... here are 2 recent photo studies. I need to improve my female portraits skills. my CgHub: http://cghub.com/forum/showthread.php?p=199835#post199835 my DA: http://alexandrescupaul.deviantart.com/ my blog: http://llexpaul.blogspot.ro/ RE: Lex Paul`s stuff - mat04art - 04-10-2014 I like your new studies! Especially the colors are very nice! The city/ space stuff is really great! I love that! For the figure drawings: Maybe try to put a bit more dynamic into the posture of your characters! So far they look a bit stiff in my own opinion. Maybe try to think more about the lines of action and stress them a bit more in your linearts, before coloring. Watching some slow motion videos on youtube can also help to understand the dynamics and natural movements of the body a bit better. I hope this helps you a little bit! Aside form that, you did really great during the last months! Keep it up! :) RE: Lex Paul`s stuff - layfayette - 04-13-2014 I love your studies, you remind me I need to improve upon my rendering skills big time when it comes to photoshop! Thanks for being a motivator! |
