Judge Dredd Helmet Goal - Audie Eagleheart - 09-17-2013
Well, this is absolutely my first time taking on a project like this. So I'm a complete noob to making a replica of movie prop. I have in the past used bondo for a 3D design class, but it was very brief. I'm using that experience and some internet searching to help me achieve this little personal project I just one day decided to tackle just because.
So what I've done today was just using some filler for the holes and a lot of sanding. At the same time I'm thinking of adding some detail such as the look of buck shot scars, dents, you know the whole 'Been Thru War' look.
My goal is to get this Dredd helmet done between late October to early November. I'll keep y'all posted. Let the experience begin. JUDGEMENT TIME!

Used and illustration board to form the structure and covered it with filler. Sand it afterward, of course.

Quickly painted Dredd 3D helmet and weathered it. New goal: To make the entire costume for next year.
