vehemence41 daily sketchbook - vehemence41 - 04-08-2014 I have been doing a page of sketches a day, as a way to push my self creatively, for about 2 weeks now, and the last couple of days I have been doing a little bit more than 2 pages. They are pretty random, and aren't composed into anything particular, they're more of a mind vomit... but that said, any feedback would be greatly welcomed. RE: vehemence41 daily sketchbook - darktiste - 04-09-2014 Here some idea of study you can do in that sketch book. There is also some link to getting started and motivated. Ah, yeah, I'm really impatient when it comes to details. you're sketchbook is amazing and really detailed though. I actually want to become a comic artist, but my art and writing is far from proffesional. if you're interested, this is a comic page I did I while ago; there was a lot of junk scribbles, getting shapes right and stuff so I've actually combined 2 pages worth together. RE: vehemence41 daily sketchbook - Rognoll - 04-18-2014 I'm officially in love with the style you're developing. It somehow reminds me of Gorillaz and Scott Pilgrim at the same time. That comic page is kickass, though you should upload more anatomy and environments studies. Specially if you're going into comics, anatomy and perspective are a must. But dude, I love those faces RE: vehemence41 daily sketchbook - vehemence41 - 04-20-2014 (04-18-2014, 04:46 AM)Rognoll Wrote: I'm officially in love with the style you're developing. You're right though, perspetive and anatomy are drawing foundations which, when making comics, can get over looked. This is a study I did a couple of weeks ago, it took abour 2-3 hours (I cant remember the exact time); my line tightness tends to be quite atrocious though. RE: vehemence41 daily sketchbook - darktiste - 04-20-2014 1. I see you have done all those sketch with only ball point pen have you ever try to do digital art? 2. Are you learning from a book or learning with experimentation? RE: vehemence41 daily sketchbook - rainbowsorknives - 04-20-2014 Nice style man RE: vehemence41 daily sketchbook - Adam Lina - 04-21-2014 I really like your line quality. And the thing about people wanting to do comics I think is that they always think they're not ready to start attempting to make a comic, but the truth is you'll always want to be better than you are. So just start making comics and dont worry if you dont think you're good enough at writing or fundamental drawing skills. The best practice for all that is to just jump in and dont look back. If you have trouble with certain things it will show what you should focus your practices on and then you can apply what you learn as you create your comics. I did actually do digital today, but it was just more faces. (−_−;) (04-20-2014, 03:28 AM)darktiste Wrote: 2. Are you learning from a book or learning with experimentation? It's more of creativity practice, trying to mess around with shapes. That or, like the post today, it's a study of a specific artist. today it was Tite kubo. I was actually really inspired by this quote. (ノ´ヮ´)ノ*:・゚✧ So much so that I planned out a 7 page comic, script and names and all. So hopefully it goes through and I finish it. I decided to go small since it's more achievable, but also that I only had to do a page a day to have it completed with in a week. ( ´ ▽ ` )ノ I owe you my thanks. RE: vehemence41 daily sketchbook - vehemence41 - 05-07-2014 RE: vehemence41 daily sketchbook - vehemence41 - 09-16-2014 my first digital art in a while, actually my first art in a while.
