Add a hand studie to this SketchBook . I think you should consider buying this book http://www.amazon.com/Keys-Drawing-Bert-Dodson-ebook/dp/B00888PUEM it not expensive at all and it going to change how you analyze what you see.

Try using this in combination with whatever you want to improve in, and enjoy the massive rewards of something painfully exhausting but so so rewarding. I would not be even close to where I am now given the same ~year timeframe if not for a lot of quick drawing focused on improving one thing. I see a lot of my early problems within your work, namely being the shift from 2d design to understanding how form sits in a 3d space (honestly something I still struggle with, especially with complex forms). Choose one area of art you wish to improve in, then choose one aspect of that area you wish to improve in, then continue chunking until you have an easily attainable goal that you can easily see the benefits of practice from. Draw a lot. If something isn't turning out, I would just throw it out immediately and restart. Mileage at this point is super important. Above all, no matter how hard it'll be, don't quit. Fight the urge to quit and just keep making art, and eventually your art will get better and better.

Take with a grain of salt though.
