Anatomy. Studies. - txb4 - 10-09-2014

By the end of the year I want to have a better understanding of how muscles work. I'm also aiming to draw the basics correctly. I'm not that good yet but I swear I will become better! :)

I highly recommend the book Anatomy for the Artist by Sarah Simblet. It'll take a long time to get through the book but you'll learn a ton. Although you might want to go through Hampton's book first to get a more basic grasp of anatomy. Both books you can get free pdfs of off torrent sites. Always cross reference on google to clarify things more. I also recommend watching Anatomy Zone videos on youtube. Reading and drawing while taking down notes, then watching videos on the specific parts will make you remember more efficently. Learning anatomy is actually a lot of fun when you get into it! Just be patient and start with basics. Good luck!
