i eventually decided to call it Fairy Collector. developed from a sketch i took a little further.

The main problem is that everything looks like it's on the same plane.

I've been using the blur filter heavily lately. You may not want that look since it isn't "painterly." WTF though says I. The world has plenty of "painterly" style digital artists.
