Color study - Gabriel Pereira - 02-04-2016 Study painting, Girl with pearl earrings - Vermeer, made this study without using the color picker, I could not reach some darker colors on the head of shade and clothing as well, if they can help me with critique, as the colors, I thank RE: Color study - artistebot - 02-04-2016 The is looking great so far. Try color picking to compare your colors with the original, that will help give you clues on the hue and value check out this video too: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MBZVQbkjIV4 RE: Color study - nutriman - 02-05-2016 Hi Gabriel, good job on the colors! If I spot brighter values towards the end I go over with brush in multiply mode (with low opacity using one of your colors from the palette) RE: Color study - smrr - 02-05-2016 Yo, Good job on challenging yourself not to use the colour picker - it's always a great way to learn when you're outside of that comfort zone. You did great with the subtleties - and you even see your flaws, so +1 to you.
