...hello? - Amrao - 02-06-2016

I first heard about this place from Sycra- finally decided to join when martinpazromero recommended it to me on Deviantart.
So anyway! Here is my DA account: http://amrao.deviantart.com

If you look there you will learn that I am a sixteen year old whose skill level is about -700 compared to everyone else here-

But I love drawing, and even though I don't know where exactly I'm going with art right now, I will try to catch up to you guys :)

PS- here also because art program sucks at my school. Realised that if I wanted to actually improve, I'd have to start making myself self-learn. (Is self-learn even a thing people say? lol)

Oh, and here's latest thing I've been doing:

It's Snow White- I always figured she'd be kinda plump and have undereye circles like crazy.

Hey,Amrao! Good luck with your art journey!

Doesn't really matter if you don't know where you want to go yet.
Solid foundation and you can build high upon it.

I'm all for self educated skills.. so congrats on your decision, you'll probably pat yourself on the shoulder later in your life!!
Looking forward to checking out your Sketchbook.

Hey, how's it goin'!?

Late-but-warm welcome to the Daggers, Amrao-!

Self-education all the way - so long as you keep consistent, disciplined (with smart breaks worked in) and hungry... always hungry & thirsty for knowledge ;)

Don't forget to make a sketchbook ^ ^

Any questions, feel free to ask <3

Hope you enjoy your stay!

Hey! It's going okay :)

Thankyou benevolent new-artist-welcomer! Sketchbook has begun as of today~
Looking at yours and other peoples sketchbooks here is pretty helpful with where I should go with mine^^

I do have one question- is there a tiering system here? I'd love to start participating in the bloodsports, but I was just wondering if there are also contests for lower level artists, because right now I have no chance of winning lol (won't stop me from trying though :D)

RE: ...hello? - smrr - 02-14-2016

Oh gosh no!!! Absolutely no tiering system whatsoever ever , ever, ever... everrrr-!!!

Here are the rules of Crimson Daggers, http://crimsondaggers.com/forum/thread-2.html
follow rule no. 1 and you're more than set <3

Feel free to join in on any of the challenges - whenever and whatever you please :)

Starting a sketchbook? Schweet! I'll be sure to check it out!

Catch ya round, Amrao-!

When I was sixteen, I wasn't even considering art. Consider yourself ahead of the curve!

Well.. at least, ahead of me.

Welcome!

Welcome! It's great to start working at what you love when you are young. I'm very excited to see how you will improve! :)
