Life Drawing Critique - JosephCow - 05-09-2018

Hi, I'm new. have been working on life drawings in class for a while, haven't had a critique. Would love to hear any thoughts, whether general impressions of my work, what I might be missing. Or specific errors.

Hey Joseph, I'd recommend learning some anatomy, the structure is looking ok but there are oversimplifications happening in the outlines and shadow shapes that don't make much sense considering what should be there.

And if you are focusing only on the figures proportions, forms and not about the lighting this steve huston video might help render your art just to look nice: (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DQ6nXdpj1zI)
