RE: Mirres Sketchbook - atrenr - 01-05-2013 Super-Mega-Ultra-Zombie-Texaaaaaas! I love your environments. They always have such cool lighting, keep it uuuup~ RE: Mirres Sketchbook - FOERVRAENGD - 01-06-2013 Thank you atrenr! Here's today's speedpainting: RE: Mirres Sketchbook - FOERVRAENGD - 01-14-2013 wooh haven't updated here for a while! I decided to do a remake of an old painting I did some few years back: It's nice to see some improvement! I'm gonna finish the one to the right soone or later. and here's some speedies: RE: Mirres Sketchbook - natzetta - 01-14-2013 last one is badass! XD RE: Mirres Sketchbook - FOERVRAENGD - 01-14-2013 Self portrait Head angle studies Still need to work more on the design aspect. RE: Mirres Sketchbook - Heavenwill - 01-14-2013 The evil Chicken is my absolute favorite ! What an expression on the trex's face :D RE: Mirres Sketchbook - FOERVRAENGD - 01-18-2013 thanks! it's my favourite as well! Here comes some doodles and stuff I drew the last days. This is something I love to do every now and then; just analyzing my learning process by repeating drawing the same subject. The character in these drawings has always been a challenge for me to draw - I can't get her stupid hair and facial shape to work...! So I spent some time with this. A character from my fav tv-show, but 30-40 years older. A really fun way to challenge your skills in aging a character. Kisses are always really hard for me to draw. This one were more or less just a happy accident. Some small notes I did about drawing kisses. I tend to do these mistakes myself, so writing it all down sort of works for me to avoid repeating bad habits. RE: Mirres Sketchbook - FOERVRAENGD - 01-18-2013 some studies I did today, really quick ones. RE: Mirres Sketchbook - Ursula Dorada - 01-18-2013 Love the kiss post! Liking this architeture study too. You think it would benefit from harder brushes? Its something I am always wondering myself nowadays :x RE: Mirres Sketchbook - FOERVRAENGD - 01-19-2013 (01-18-2013, 12:04 PM)Ursula Dorada Wrote: Love the kiss post! I'm pretty sure it's better to go with a hard round brush than a soft round brush on architecture, especially since most human-made things have straight shapes and details. Right now I just wanna get a bit more used to quickly sketch/draw buildings so I can easier make my own designs sooner or later. :) RE: Mirres Sketchbook - FOERVRAENGD - 01-25-2013 Aaaaaand more kissing practise: Note to self: Make sure the heads have the same size next time. I like how this one turned out. Except the fact that his head ended up too big, arrrgh! I need to fix that bad habit! RE: Mirres Sketchbook - FOERVRAENGD - 02-02-2013 (final picture) Self portrait - 20-30 min and some skin tone studies: I also am considering doing a remake of an old drawing I did back in 2005: I have no idea what my past self had in mind when drawing that face. RE: Mirres Sketchbook - FOERVRAENGD - 02-03-2013 some progress screenshots: reference: Some more sketches I did today: RE: Mirres Sketchbook - s-mrr - 02-03-2013 Wooooooow-! Going through pages 1-6 is really inspirational (although your art was already kickass from page 1) your line quality is off the hook-!! I also really enjoy your characters... their expressions and facial structure gives them each a unique personality! So cool :D RE: Mirres Sketchbook - FOERVRAENGD - 02-04-2013 Some anatomy studies RE: Mirres Sketchbook - FOERVRAENGD - 02-06-2013 did some head angle studies yesterday. Alway fun ang challenging! RE: Mirres Sketchbook - Ursula Dorada - 02-06-2013 Kick ass anatomy man. Keep it up! RE: Mirres Sketchbook - FOERVRAENGD - 02-15-2013 here's a little valentine's day card. Or okay I just wanted an excuse to draw fuzzy feathered raptors snuggle. RE: Mirres Sketchbook - FOERVRAENGD - 03-24-2013 woooh haven't updated here in a while! sorry bout that! Here's a big dump of WIPs and studies I've done recently: Process shots of a new coloring technique that I've tried out recently, I really like this technique . It works really good for me personally. used the same technique on these but with different colors, experimenting is always fun! Skin tone practise "mirre-tries-to-color-in-vivid-dreamy-overlayish-colors-doodle" playing with color palettes RE: Mirres Sketchbook - FOERVRAENGD - 03-27-2013 today's just gonna be a bunch of WIP screendumps. final image ^ |
