I did a lotta upside down drawings today, it was extremely brutal, just made me more aware of how non objective my eye is when it comes to shapes. Some of these were upside then i fixed with an eraser but at some point the errors are so deep i had to just use a marker to point out the structure problems.
Definitely a level up on my eye today, even my recent stuff looks like ass now i guess its a good thing
the dog is in gouache, i liked the edges but late in it realized the forehead was too big, see, just another reason to work on observation. its a practice for an upcoming commission
