GENDERSPECTRIGGERED: Yeeehh heheh thanks! I did some tracing over some photos and some sketches I will scan tomorrow of some legs bent, yea legs can actually be complicated because the arch of the calve and the pit of the leg behind the knee and how those little thin muscles stick out can be confusing!
Kinda took it easy today, doing some research for the scene. Also did a one hourish study where I tried to apply a little theory I wanted to test. I remember Jeff watts saying "You draw while you paint." So, I thought, well I have this tool in painter thats a filter that makes a photo look like a sketch. My plan was to take this girl and paint the sketch generated by the filter. He's right btw; by the time I got this far with it in about an hour, the proportions I had rendered had gotten off, so even though it was a shortcut, it still didn't give the bullseye when it came to results.
Could be a good idea if you wanna save time and purely focus on color and painting. Just running something through the "Sketch filter." It's kinda like tracing, but you still need to know where the edges and proportions are going to be at the end!
