alrightey, spent a bit of time polishing this up; need to get back to a steady schedule. I wanna kinda mix my brute force approach with some sophistication. So like, drawing meticulously maybe some hogarthe drawings, then doing them from memory, something like that. Also get back into some gestures and continue refining the head drawing stuff.
Watched two really nice movies recently, The Tree of Life which had some stunning visuals that i thought were just key to the color and light i love, and My Friend Dahmer, which was well... Incredibly tasteful and well written for a film on a serial killer. Man they had such good cinematography i wished i could have just studied every little frame. I'll probably do that at some point is just get out a favorite film of mine and go frame by frame and practice and learn the storyboarding of it all, and stylzing simple value sketches in 2-3 values. So much to take in so little time...
