Life drawing! You can see how behind my figures are, but at least my lines are more deliberate. still really struggling getting the head on the body, but you know i think it's a matter of doing less specially cuz newsprint isnt the easiest thing to detail on. I feel the raw charcoal ones i do are twice as good simply because im not trying to detail anything. So next time im there i might just see how much i can do with raw charcoal alone and maybe do the face with tone and erase out the form of the features. Plus everything is just bolder and more expressive

Need to go easier on the black lines.

Dont do a super black nostril hole, can look bad, knock the value up higher. Also if there's a little blemish on the paper of the artist you're copying, dont think copying it will teach you anything lol
