Gliger: Thx, ill need a few more e's on that very before anyone starts to give a shit ;)
Darkiste: nope but ive studied the reilly method and that works quite well with placement of wrinkles and actually not as well on pretty young faces. you can study portraiture without breaking out an anatomy book
So its been raining 3 days straight, knocking the internet on and off. I purchased proko's monolith of anatomy course with the money i made from the drawing i sold. Its gonna take at least 2 months to get through the sections, even if i do one a day. So far ive done the spine, tracings and pelvis. im trying to be smart with this stuff just watching, drawing from memory, correcting, making lots of notes, its quite mentally draining, but thats what he reccomends and it works
Im posting an idea of what im doing with these slightly messy pelvis constructions, im rusty on that front, but its not too bad, just scratchy. Also doing quick sketch different from my initial try where i watch jeff, hide the picture, draw from memory, correct from the sketch. Again, smart way to learn, very mentally taxing. Itll be fun to get to life drawing and try some of these things out, and i know when i can make a banger fairly consistently then ill be ready to try other things like illustration.
