Darkiste: thx
So ya ol boi fedo was out cold the past two days with a wicked stomach virus he caught from his redneck relatives, and couldnt even raise his koala paw to draw a thing. Buut finally he got back around to it and started on this character piece. Its based on this sketch i did back in october, and switching to first person, I used anatomy360 as a helpful guide to lighting the face, since its got a well built lighting interface. I tried to upload it last night but internet cut out the minute i went to and i had to sleep for it to work again
Im trying to figure out now what kinda costumes i want to make; I studied a few science fiction designs and i was just very cynical about them, about how unfunctional they are. Like a civillian on a ship, they all seemed to have metal shoulder pads, why would you need a such a primitive form of protection if youre in such a high age of technology? I remember drawing, just so many things, and thinking, man i would never do any of this; though before i had drawn it, i'd assumed it was a good design.
and sure, i mean in fashion nothing is really functional besides protecting the body and keeping warm, its just... youd want comfort too right? anyways, im working out the pose, was struggling with the calves, i kept drawing one like really close to the camera, and one with a terrible shape design for the distant one. The hips are also too chunky, but im gonna redo the line drawing completely before adding color
