Adam: Thanks! yea I'm focusing on edges and technique this month; i'm almost done, i have big plans for the end of the month i'm gonna try to do a big piece that pushes my abilities beyond this kind of sterile digital look i'm getting. It will be fan art of Soul Calibur and i hope i can pull it off how i imagine it.
Pin: Thx!

second one is a WIP; going for a more cinematic look more controlled and limited pallete; I get tired of doing character concepts, i'd rather tell a story. I also really need to not just do stuff in one sitting i need to take a break come back and look at how shitty/sloppy the edges/strokes get since I need fresh eyes. Flipping it a lot just isn't enough for me.
I wish my sloppiness could be charming and free feeling like Mike Azevedo, or Dave Rapoza's old sketches from like 2011, that stuff i really love. I look at it all the time to try and figure out why it works. instead i just cringe when i look at stuff i did the very same day lol
Uhh KIIIK BUTTT!!!!
