Nice values. Glad to hear you're already on the ball, man. Grin Looking forward to seeing those anatomiez.
@Sketchosoph: Thanks very much! I sometimes think about working in some photoshoppyness, mostly I just move to the next sketch :) But I intend to look up some really nice pencil sketches of mine and do a complete painting in photoshop using the sketch as base, reworking the designs etc. for a portfolio.

@Bookend: Thanks as always :)

A sketch of one of my new RPG characters. It´s one twin brother of a team of trained dragon slayer dwarves (a colleague plays the other brother). They fight together as one with a giant spear and they have the disadvantage of being ugly...

Hey man, excellent work as always. Have you thought about adding colour to your drawings?

Anyway, keep at it! Thumbs_up
@Bookend:  Thanks! I´ve included a colored sketch below. Just quick and dirty

Here are some studies and a quick coloring of an older pencil sketch.

Good stuff here mate. I think just keep pushing your studies and focusing on applying what you learn from them into your imagination work.

Love those pencil sketches.

Thanks for sharing.
@Agerkvist: Thanks! Yep, that´s the way to go. Study and Application.

More studies:

Study of Sargents Madame X which aroused a scandal when it was published back in his days. The skin color and its subtleties fascinated me most in studying it.

Imagination sketch and study:

Really awesome studies-- They are improving your imagination pieces by far. And yay for colour! I am satisfied, lol. Keep working hard and pushing your limits. Thumbs_up
@Bookend: Thanks as always!

A while back, I did a sketch of a lich for a RPG illustration. Just wanted to show a comparison to the now finished painting

I love the level of effort and detail you always put into your work! The expression on the open-mouthed lass is interesting. Slack-jawed, or shock, I wonder? Keep working on those expressions! Grin

I love the lich sorcerer king guy and the environment therein.

Keep working hard, man! Thumbs_up
@Bookend: Thanks :)  The lass is in shock because she saw ..... doing ..... right in front of ...... Quite shocking indeed.

I like the last 2 pages, they look real and fantastic !
@Bart: Thanks a lot!

Here´s a speedpainting I did for fun. Called it: The Summoning of Death

The last 3 characters below are 3 party members of a new RPG group. A shaman, a barbarian and an elf warrior

@Sketchosoph: Thanks! Will do :)

Something different from the usual pencil sketches for a change. Here is some stuff I do on a daily base (this below is done over several days) beside digital painting and pencil sketching. Gestures, anatomy and design studies. Lately also some style studies of great artists like Alex Negrea or Kekai Kotaki. I usually don´t post stuff like that anymore because for me it´s become kind of "throw away art". It´s just quick sketches to analyze stuff and really get that into my brain.

I also made a habit of doing these side studies in ink/ballpoint pen (thanks to Inktober) to also practice on making every line count and to broaden my drawing tool knowledge. (next up will be more watercolor and copics I think :)
