whoooooooa i love it all. no critques for you sorry I don't use acrylics
Love your portrait sketches. About acrylic painting, I really like the idea of using classical portraits and replacing them with skull-tho skull seems to be a little bit flat in the front where the nose is- on your previous paper sketch you can see that skull is a bit curved up there. Apart from that looks good.
Have fun and keep up with good work :D
Toxicpanda Thank you! looking at it now I didnt really fix it and it still looks kinda flat :/
update
It looks flat because what you're missing is- Light :) You didn't use any light source so what I would suggest you to create two light sources-one from the front and other from the side of the skull (his back)- so when you add shadows make the other side of skull darker and you will get depth that you were missing.
Toxicpanda Thank you again, you are very helpful, I will have to do some studies for light, shadows etc. I need to get it in my head
late night character sketches, I hope to finish them sooner or later
Nice SB Shuty! some of your quick sketches have nice shinkawa vibe.
The movement of your last grayscale character sketches is great too.
EduardoGaray Thanks! oh Shinkawa what a genius, wish I was half as good as him :D
