So... I left art school two years ago. I couldn't finish... and I've kind of, not done much since.

I don't really have the space to break out paints where I live so I've been doing some digital painting, except I suck at it. Like, a lot. I've noticed that I've actually been slipping and my stuff from the past few weeks is worse than stuff from months ago. That's just... wrong.

My real interest is sculpting tho. I want to be a better 2D artist and I'll never stop drawing, but I want to make a living as a sculptor. Somehow. Is it ok if I post my sculptures?

I'm pretty much only active on furry sites and I'm really only interested in drawing and sculpting furries and animals. So yeah, I'll probably be posting a lot of animal studies. I hope that's ok?

I used to be on CA off and on, but I never really stuck with it. I need some kind of motivated, critique positive site to be on tho. The thing about furries is they're not really great at the whole critique thing.

Also... I was wondering what the rules are on posting adult art here. I get a lot of my nude references from porn sites since there's really not a lot of good traditional ref material out there :/

Thanks.
One thing about doing digital art is that it is incredibly complex and can be daunting for all the options we can take to produce varying results, which is why I take breaks from it once in a while to hone my real media and sketching skills, at least for me it builds up confidence by returning to something familiar then jumping back to digital. Another practice you might find useful, is getting a pentel brush pen, or just pens in general, and draw only with those for a while when going out and doing studies. Don't erase, just draw and if you mess up start a new one. We spend so much time erasing and second guessing ourselves that working directly with pen has a profound influence on our mind after a while. Just a thought. And welcome.
