Hi, I'm Forrestt Bandell, a 21 year old from Wisconsin, USA. I'm making a sketchbook in the hopes of improving as an artist and hopefully making a career out of it. Going to post a bunch of stuff here from recent months and then after hopefully update everyday. I look forward to speaking with you all and growing as artist's together.

Been playing with my webcam and PS to try and get clearer photos.

Still playing with PS to try to get better images online. Also decided to try digital. There's the sketch layer and some quick tones I threw down. I spent the better part of three hours just trying to get PS to do something. Had all kinds of problems with drivers and pen pressure and lag and god it took forever but finally my tablet decided to make marks without barfing up a middle finger and after all that this was the result. It was a quick sketch, maybe in the future I'll try more digital but for now it's just me, pencil, and paper doing unspeakable things together whilst my tablet and PS look on enviously from across the room. Wow. I don't know how I feel about that analogy.

More faces... SURPRISE!! Also studying the head/neck/torso connection because drawing that makes me sad.

I've been running around with my friend having fun and doing nothing much art wise for the past two weeks, and I felt terrible about it; but it seems that break from art was worth it, as I'm feeling nice and refreshed now.

The usual heads and crap but on others advice I started drawing more other stuff. Tried using Maya as a reference for some rough perspective studies but the perspective on that program is wonky as fuck.

Guess who's back? I've been drawing, just haven't been posting. That ends now.

Keep posting man. Are you reading someone for the head studies now?

hehe I almost missed you there in the flood of images dude. Yeah they're all referenced from images online, mostly DA spontaneous portraits categroy; and a really cool 3D Asaro head I downloaded awhile back.

We now return to your regularly scheduled image size. Playing with gross ass markers that actually are kind of fun to play with. Still shitty though. Piddling around with multiple mediums a bit on the bottom.
