Hi! It's me... Roberto .... or as many people know me... RUBA
This is my latest digital ilustration and I'm very glad to share it with you all.
It's a long story, 'cause I started this illustration in September 2011 and working in graphic design compromises pushed me to put off this piece.
The title I gived to it is: Rothbart's spell
I was inspired for doing this pic when I found a beautiful photograph on the web; when I saw that photo I was listening to Tchaikovsky's "Swan lake" and the first scene that came into my mind was Rothbart casting the spell to Odette while kindnapping her.
The most dificult part of this was to grasp odette's expression of... horror and desperation. I wanted to show her not as a beautiful top model, but as an anguished woman who doesn't know what the hell is going on.
