Crimson Daggers — Art forum

Hello guys, thought I'd post here some of my recent work. I am trying really hard to do studies, learn a bunch of stuff, and finish these pieces in the same time. I want to paint all the Spider Man villains based on the animated series timeline and any feedback would be really appreciated!

So first one, the Lizard:

The head looks good, but I'd take a second pass at the body/shirt. The chest looks like it's facing directly towards the viewers left, it has no depth. But the way the shirt collar has been drawn looks like it's pointing more towards the viewer, in a 3/4 angle. I think you did a great job with the mouth, and the skin looks well rendered around the eye, so I think you should definitely revise the body.
