Welcome to my Sketchbook! :D

Here's some recent sketches I did trying to better understand some anatomy and apply anatomy.

(p.s. sorry for no digital, I've got a Yiynova MSP19U tablet on its way and it'll be here in about a week or two!!)

Feel free to give advice if you see mistakes!

Looking good, just keep it up :) Avoid those strong 'patches' of crosshatching cuz they are making a lot of contrast in the wrong places. Welcome!
Not a lot

[attachment=32916]Worked on this for a while, but I don't know. My color and painting skills are minuscule if not none. I need to do more studies.
Nice! Anatomy is coing along pretty well and I like that you're tackling a bit of composition now.
If color is your weak spot, then breath deeply, bite your lip, and dedicate more time to it than any other thing. Also, despite of many people speaking against it, I think tutorials are a huge help when it comes to colors.

Keep it up, man! good stuff!
Thanks Rognoll, I tried a solid portrait painting and probably put 2 hrs into it? I'm not sure maybe more maybe less but either way I don't want to polish a terd for too long so here's my first.

I focused on the face primarily so the hair sucks more than the rest

another portrait study, tried sketching and then grayscale cuz i figured trying to take everything on at once was probably just throwing me off and i think it helped lots. [attachment=33615]

[attachment=33679]I should continue this but for now, It's like this.
Hey cool digital pieces, I would say work on your values and try pushing them if you want to challenge yourself and make your pieces more readable. You have some great stuff here, really liking the look of your anatomy studies too. Keep working!o /
You got some awesome stuff here, the pen sketches look nice.
Keep on studying and utilize the studies into OC.
