A little color study and a friendly dude
Today's offerings to the gods of study
Personal piece time!
had fun with this one, I call it "Good Boy"!
Was hesitating hard about giving the guy red glowing eyes just to add a touch of red, but I figured it would have been a bit cheesy so I stayed away from it.
hand time
Legs'n'jewels
With those anatomy studies you motivate me... I closed my sketchbook after breaking my felt tip pen of Peters Hans exercise. Anyway after seeing how hard you work I reopened it and did few noses with pencil. :P
I'm very honored if i was able to motivate you to draw! That's sweet!
Real awesome studies here, keep up the hard work Yann, and thanks for the crit :D
No problem Egbu!
I always draw such pleasant subjects
mmm yeah... more spikes...
You can never have too many spikes I always say. Some great stuff in here man. The lighting on that hand with the jewel looks awesome.
Thanks Haze!
And Yeah: spikes forever.
So these past few days I've mostly been scribbling terrible stuff, most of which don't make any sense. Here are the few things that I think are readable:
Some clothes and armor studies for a change
Sup Daggers!
So here's a little update,
study of a bear in the snow, because i want to make a snow beast piece sometime soon!
Also a portrait, trying to find a decent method for rendering skin, and finally a little work in progress piece, if you have any suggestions on that one, always more than welcome!
Next piece, aquatic theme this time.
yes these thumbnails literally look like crap!
Great updates Yann!
That portrait of a dude is killer, nailed his eyes,
like whoa!
Keep up the comp studies, theyre a wonderful tool for learning
Thanks smrrfette!
definitely will!
need to put some more thought into comps because i feel like i just start a new one each time and end up going back to the same thing.
anyways, movie still time
That's a lot of work here! As I can see, even flipped Arnie approves! Keep up!
Hha thanks man!
Yeah flipped Arnie approves, although he's not sure which way to the mountain of power anymore.
Here's a portrait from imagination, except for the fricking ear which is reffed
