heyyyyy nice grind over here, you sir are in dire need of doing peter hans dyanmic sketching course, your tonal control is very goodtho so thats why id loe to see better drawing! since tonal stuff is so good the drawing mistakes stand out way more! also you lose track of scale often! other than that keep at it :D
Really nice start on your new sketchbook. You got some good studies going on and I really like the birds and tanks.
I think your paintings would jump up to a whole new level if you minded your edges a bit more, Think where to use your soft brush for subtle variations and where to use your hard edged brush for more harsh variations. This will define your forms a lot better and I think this will help you to do even better portraits. Keep it up, I can't wait to see more :)
Nice stuff, was the last piece in your last post a study or your own work? Either way very impressive. Definitely feel like your digital painting is improving purely from the mileage of studies you're doing. It's good you're doing studies from life also. Would like to see some more imagination stuff and application of knowledge but other than that awesome start!
hey cicakkia
Great digital studies!
These last ones of February show a lot of improvement regarding the colors.
The ocean one is very nice in terms of colors and saturation.
I second darktiste's comment. working more on the structure of the face could help!
Keep up the good work!
The time spent on value really shows! I love your traditional sketches, too.
Also, I feel like something really clicked when you did the still life painting. Definitely do more of those.
Also also, you really seem to love drawing animals. Your creature drawings and paintings are just lovely! I'm glad to see you take advantage of that by, say, adding a parrot to your pirate's shoulder.

Thanks, echo. Yea, this is what I wanted to overcome. My edge is pretty lacking on some certain part. Will keep an eye on it

yea, that one I did for community challenge. It really helps me to think more than I usually do. I try to do more like this in the future
@VoodooMama[b]
Thanks, VoodooMama. I wish human faces are not complicated
@Tygerson[/color]
I like drawing animals very much at the beginning. But because due to work demand, I just now doing various things, study here and there. Glad you like the traditional, I will try to post more
Thank you for all the comment. It really motivates me to keep going
That overlord skull looks really solid! The forms around it look a little unsure--maybe if you build a simple lighting setup with a spot light and some balls/toilet paper rolls/boxes it will help. I've got the same problem though, and haven't yet solved it. Maybe someone else will have a suggestion.
Those face structure studies look really helpful. Those movie studies turned out nice, too.

ah ok, I haven't thought about building lighting setup for study. I'll try to keep that in mind
