Hi everyone,
I wrote a three part post named ''Talent is an illusion'' on my blog.
I discusses the ways of the old masters, the importance of creativity in education and freelancing.

Part one: http://www.andreabrajnovic.com/blog/tale...n-illusion
Part two: http://www.andreabrajnovic.com/blog/tale...sionpart-2

I encourage you to share your thoughts in the comments below.
Kind regards,
Andrea
There's an interesting take on talent in the first article - namely saying someone is 'talented' kind of takes away from the hours and hours of hardwork, sort of devaluing them, or rather not praising the hardcore grinding they've done. Since they are 'talented' it's somehow easier for them. I never thought of it that way, I think I agree!
Jyonny I want to encourage you to watch the documentary ''Secret knowledge'' I talk about in my post:

It helped me a lot to understand the old masters, their work and the amount of time they have put in their work. It was an eye opener and David Hockney shows their techniques as nobody else have done before. It inspired me to promote art on a local level and get in touch and talk about it in forums and group discussions .

Thanks for engaging with my post, I'd like to hear what you think about the videos I've posted if and when you watch them.

Kind regards,
Andrea
