I want to make this a portfolio piece so I'd be very grateful if i get some input on composition and colors before I go indepth with renderring it out .Im also concerned about depth and how to illustrate it properly.
There is something weird about the perspective. Considering how we are looking at the skeleton guy in the foreground from below, I think we should also be looking at the large bird behind him more from below than we are now. Also if those are mountains in the background, we shouldn't be able to see them at all, because the horizon is so low.

However, I do like the composition. So what you could maybe do is make us stand at the bottom of a sinkhole, so that the edge is the edge of the hole - and also make the dark shape curve all the way around to the top of the composition.
