On one darn subject.
Faces, hands, Landscapes, design, ETC.
Not something too broad like illustration.
Something you like and know you like.
If you suck at everything, it will take much longer to get good at everything than it would to get good at one thing
Ask yourself after every study...
What did i learn from this?
Did i enjoy doing this?
Why did I even do this?
Am i just doing it for the sake of doing it?
If you're doing it for the sake of doing it, stahp it. You'd better spend your time sleeping. you can improve while sleepin believe it or not.
Improvement is about observation, and repetition of correct information. Sure you'll improve doing random stuff, but why not focus and get better faster. Look at the artist you wanna be like, why aren't you like them? Do a study of them and literally write down everything your couldn't fulfill that they could. That's what you need to learn.
You need to learn the things you don't know.
