Hey folks. I'll make sure to keep this current with both 2D and 3D sketch work.


First thing's first.

While I try to stay away from fan-art normally, some updates to Rift showed off some screenshots of Maelforge that looked great.

That's a really lovely drawing of an elf, charming!

Tbh, the monster looks like it was drawn by another artist :o

Hey Tooth, thank you for that. I really enjoyed sketching out that gal. Once again, that one was inspired by the elves in RIFT. They're great to look at.

As for the dragon piece there, I did him as a study piece from one of these, so obviously I take no credit for the design of the character itself, that's all TRION WORLDS:

I'd also like to point out, about an hour after finishing the dragon, I started looking at all the areas I didn't get right, what I could have done better, where I could have used broader strokes etc. But, it was a good exercise.

A 1.2 hour speedpaint. Originally just sketching around drawing a ship, I ended up in the painting mood.

Any crits would be GREATLY appreciated.
