I need to get better at capturing details... RE: The Daily Study Group - Caisne - 01-12-2015 You guys are rad! RE: The Daily Study Group - Heliux - 01-14-2015 2 hr study before work. Getting back in the saddle after the holidays. O_o @Caisne - thanks man! You've got a pretty good thing going with the hideout yourself! :D RE: The Daily Study Group - Heliux - 01-26-2015 RE: The Daily Study Group - Heliux - 02-05-2015 ;\ RE: The Daily Study Group - Heliux - 02-09-2015 RE: The Daily Study Group - JyonnyNovice - 02-09-2015 Heliux That latest one turned out really nice! Maybe darker occlusion shadows can help to fix things to the desk more. I think the one above with the orange pepper is nicest looking one to me, seeing the linework gives it a real clean, nice look. Keep going buddy ^^ RE: The Daily Study Group - Heliux - 02-12-2015 Thankss for the advice Jon! I'll definitely focus a bit more on shadow value and consistency next still life! ;D value stuuuufff... RE: The Daily Study Group - Heliux - 02-17-2015 RE: The Daily Study Group - cas_m - 02-18-2015 1h study, and the color of the breads was killing me, it still does. I had to use the color picker and see that my hue was right but my saturation and brightness should be higher. Based in this: http://www.deviantart.com/art/Still-life-4-115676513 RE: The Daily Study Group - NinoKitteN - 02-25-2015 Hey do you guys keep a theme on these studies , or is it just random , I'm looking for a group like this that could motivate me to work harder, I just find myself overwhelmed with all the fields of the arts and knowing that I must study all of them RE: The Daily Study Group - cas_m - 02-26-2015 NinoKitteN for me it's better to focus in some subject for a period of time, but it's always hard decide what is best to do first, what I need to do first. These are my last studies, people: RE: The Daily Study Group - Heliux - 02-27-2015 my current schedule: I use the "free study" days as more active problem solving days to more organically focus on what I feel like I need to, but the structure keeps me consistent. This schedule is just for the next couple months...tight enough to have a grasp, loose enough to be fluid. Good luck. ;P RE: The Daily Study Group - Eurogin - 03-14-2015 Hey, just wondering if this thread is still going?, I'm looking into finding a study group. RE: The Daily Study Group - JyonnyNovice - 03-14-2015 Abandoned Hideout is more active, over here: http://crimsondaggers.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=5830&page=11 there is a skype channel too. RE: The Daily Study Group - Heliux - 09-28-2015 Head/form studies from earlier in August: Rusty bust study. ;\ perspective tilt. trying to match the lighting a little too. I'd like to do tighter versions of these, but also don't want to get caught noodling details for hours. Light/inclination & Comp studies.
